These terms govern your use of MakePerfectResume, provided by MakePerfectResume. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use MakePerfectResume.
1. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.
2. The service
MakePerfectResume lets you create, edit, store and download CVs and cover letters, and use AI-assisted writing and checking tools. Free accounts have usage limits described on our pricing page. We may change or improve features over time.
3. Plans and payments
- One-time payments: every plan is a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
- Monthly and Yearly plans: the Monthly Plan (₹99) gives unlimited CV creation, editing and watermark-free PDF downloads, including premium templates, for 1 calendar month; the Yearly Plan (₹499) gives the same for 1 year. Access starts when your payment is confirmed. Buying again while a plan is active adds the new period to the end of the current one.
- Older plans: the 1 CV, 3 CVs, 1 Year and Lifetime plans are no longer sold. Existing purchases keep what they include: CVs unlocked with a CV pack stay unlocked, unused CV-pack downloads do not expire, the 1 Year plan runs until it ends and Lifetime does not end.
- Prices: the price charged is always the price shown at checkout.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
4. Your content
You own the content you add to MakePerfectResume. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for making sure your CV is truthful and that you have the right to include any content you upload.
5. AI-generated content
AI suggestions are provided to help you write; they may contain errors. Always review suggestions before using them. Our AI is designed not to invent facts – placeholders such as [X] mark information only you can supply. You are responsible for the final content of your documents.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including by attempting to access other users' data, scraping, reverse engineering, overloading our systems, circumventing usage limits or creating fraudulent documents.
7. Templates and intellectual property
Our templates, phrase library, examples, software and branding are owned by us or our licensors. You may use documents you create for your personal job applications.
8. Liability
We do not guarantee that using MakePerfectResume will result in interviews or employment. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. On termination we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
